Hi, I'm Sheena, I'm new to Illinois... well, kind of. I've been here for a year already. I've been thinking lately about the concept of home. What makes a place home. When my mom asks me if I'm coming home she's referring to Philadelphia, when my in-laws ask they mean Belgium, when friends ask they mean New York, yet I live in Chicago. In the end home is an abstract concept, its in the way sun's yellow light hits the wall on a summer evening and makes me think of a place in time when nothing was more important than ice cream.

One thing I love about Chicago is what I find on the walls...

Arial view of Chicago, preparing for landing. Its flat expanse amazes me always.
Another view, city lights forever.
Rainy day at Filter in wicker park. Summer storms.
